A mixing and recording studio located in a private residence in Lake Forest, USA.
Program
REDI Acoustics was tasked with the placement of the speakers and listening position, as well as the characteristics and placement of all acoustical treatments. Designed by WSDG.
Acoustics
Designed to accommodate Solo Wang's hybrid workflow, this room was created to excel at both live recordings and "in-the-box" mixing. Built in an existing residential space, the room has a unique geometry imposed by the existing structure. Equipped with PMC speakers for critical stereo monitoring, the custom-made acoustic treatments complement the high performance of the speakers by creating a neutral yet lively acoustic environment to enable precision recording and decision-making during the creative process.
