Main control room of the Mix with the Masters flagship studio located in a residential area within the inner ring of Paris, France.
Winner of the NAMM TEC Awards 2024.
REDI Acoustics was tasked with optimizing the placement of the speakers and listening positions, as well as the characteristics and placement of all acoustical treatments. Designed by WSDG.
Studio A is the largest and most complex room at Rue Boyer. It is a 48m² (517 ft²) space designed to serve as a state-of-the-art control room for stereo and immersive mixing, a live room for recording live performances, and a teaching space for up to 20 students. To achieve this, the room is equipped with a myriad of monitoring systems, including Symphonic Acoustics in-wall speakers, near-field monitoring, a complete Dolby ATMOS speaker setup for immersive monitoring, and a 5-sub array to provide even low-frequency distribution across the entire room. Additionally, the 48-channel E-series SSL 4000 console is located on an elevator platform, which allows it to disappear into the floor and easily convert into a live room, with Studio B serving as the control room.. The elevator platform also doubles as a low-frequency resonator, acting as a variable acoustic treatment for the different room applications.
